Stamford’s village within a town - The streets around St Paul's St

East Stamford centred around St Paul’s St increasingly has the feel of a perfect village community. It was neatly summed up by one shop-keeper: “I love this street, it’s so friendly you can get everything you need – breakfast from Simpole Clarke, pop in for a top at Attic, get the car cleaned and choose between several restaurants for lunch. Oh, and pamper myself in one of the salons if there is time.
