Vive, la difference!

Fitzwilliam Hospital, Peterborough and Woodland Hospital, Kettering have launched a new and innovative brand to support the development of its Life Care services. The brand ‘Vive’ has been developed to promote cosmetic surgery treatments and life-enhancing treatments such as weight loss and physiotherapy in an increasingly competitive market. The new, credible national brand will help the individual units of Ramsay Health Care to communicate service and build customers for life.

The national launch took place at RIBA in London and was sponsored by major cosmetic surgery partners. Key presentations on the day to the 100 General Managers, Business Development Managers and Cosmetic Clinical Nurse Specialists from across the business focused on why the company is taking a national approach, how to build customer loyalty and the ‘look’ of the new brand was revealed. Anticipation for the launch had been building for four weeks as a teaser campaign was rolled out to all Ramsay Health Care Units.

Regional Director for Fitzwilliam Hospital, Peterborough, James Beech, commented: “We need to position ourselves as a provider of services not just for the sick but also for the healthy. The Vive products and services are desirable and this type of purchase requires a different approach to the one we traditionally use for treatments where people are unwell or need surgery for critical needs. By separating the Vive brand from our Ramsay Health Care brand we can be much clearer about the benefits of each.”

He added: “With Vive we want to capture clients and keep them for life. Vive, which means “long live” in French, really summarises the essence of the brand statement.”

Under the new umbrella brand, which was developed and tested at Ramsay’s Springfield Hospital in Essex, the company will market its cosmetic surgery, non-surgical treatments, male and female health screening, vascular screening and varicose vein surgery and develop the growing area of Bariatrics and weight management services focused on medical and surgical treatments.
